Maxima leaves Syria to reach Holland in 2015. Aleppo, her city, has long been a war zone. She is a 14-year-old girl, with a too big backpack on her shoulder and her mother’s scarf around her neck.
A journey made of changing borders, of controls, of bleeding feet, of long waits and prayers under the Aegean moon.
Maxima’s story is a true story, which she herself told in a book together with the writer and journalist Francesca Ghirardelli.
A project that tries to keep with itself the stories of those who are in a migration journey today, for those who can reach their destination and for those who cannot. A project which tries to make a link between her eyes (full of everything they’ve seen) to the eyes of those who will be able to look.

Pandemonium Teatro, Centro di Produzione Teatrale sostenuto da MIBAC e Reg. Lombardia, svolge dal 1988 un’intensa attività di produzione, organizzazione e formazione, con particolare vocazione al territorio e alla mescolanza con ciò che è considerato “diverso”.
Pandemonium Teatro è stato inoltre tra i fondatori dell’Associazione Scenario.
Dal 2018 gestisce, in convenzione con il Comune di Bergamo, il Teatro di Loreto e, in convenzione con il Comune di Alzano Lombardo, il Teatro degli Storti di Alzano Lombardo. La programmazione riguarda rassegne teatrali per infanzia e famiglie, adolescenti e giovani, rassegne scolastiche, esiti di percorsi di formazione, ospitalità ed eventi speciali.
Pandemonium Teatro organizza anche laboratori di formazione teatrale dedicando un’attenzione particolare al rapporto fra teatro ed educazione. Si occupa inoltre della direzione di rassegne dedicate alle famiglie per conto di alcune Amministrazioni Comunali sul territorio della Lombardia.
