“With a suitcase, a small apple tree and the desire to return soon, Bettina leaves her home behind to take a break from the sound of bombs and the fear of war. When she arrives at her “new home”, she realises that nothing is as she imagined. Norma, another girl in the same situation, will accompany her in this harsh story, building a friendship between the two of them that will allow them to face the difficulties that arise”.
The show deals with the uncertainty that refugee children experience after leaving their place of origin without knowing where they are going to end up. The play deals with uprooting and the importance of interpersonal bonds in situations of vulnerability.
